We sponsor the Forward Poetry Prizes as part of National Poetry Day, an annual celebration of poetry. Prizes are awarded for Best Collection, Best Single Poem and Best First Collection and the shortlisted poems are published in an anthology each year.

Launched in 2002, The Big Arts Week is an exciting new initiative to inspire the next generation of British artists. During the week a wide range of professional artists visit their local schools to work with pupils on a creative project.

National Poetry Day is the brainchild of William Sieghart of The Forward Arts Foundation to fuel the nation’s enthusiasm for poetry. It’s a licence to be poetic for the day.
